Paris, Capital of the Diasporas (2024-)
Interdisciplinary art project
PCDD is an interdisciplinary art project that explores Paris through the lens of its diasporic communities. The project invites individuals to share their unique perspectives on the city, highlighting the diverse cultural, historical, and personal narratives that shape Paris as a multicultural hub.

Blending visual arts, storytelling, and participatory contributions, PCDD captures the layered identities of the city through the eyes of those who inhabit its margins and redefine its core.

Through various media formats—photography, text, video, and audio—PCDD aims to create a mosaic of experiences that reflect the richness of the diasporic presence in Paris.

The initiative fosters dialogue, representation, and inclusivity, encouraging contributors to redefine the identity of the city beyond its stereotypical image. By showcasing stories of migration, heritage, and everyday life, PCDD seeks to celebrate the contributions of diasporic communities and challenge conventional narratives of belonging in the French capital.
